Graffiti and Street Art
Buenos Aires, as a city, is known for many things: night clubs, tango dancing, Eva Peron…I could go on and on. But what I did not expect to fall in love with in Buenos Aires–the graffiti scene. My first hint that graffiti was a “thing” in Buenos Aires was flipping through a guide book and seeing that there was a bike tour dedicated to graffiti. I remember thinking, “oh that’s different” and did not think any more of it.
It wasn’t until I started wandering around the city that I fell in love. The graffiti around town–especially in the LaBoca area, was beautiful. I took picture after picture–hoping that my photos would capture the beauty of what I saw.
