Episode 39: It Started with the Poop, But It’s Not Really About the Poop

Okay so election season is (almost) over and we’re back to our regular weekly episodes.  Thanks for sticking with me during this hectic time!  As they say—crap happens.  Which unfortunately is so relevant to this episode.  Did you hear about this craziness?!?!?! Delta Airlines is under fire because they forced a guy to sit in dog poop for two hours!  Reyna Simone talks about this and goes into how it’s important to do what you need to do to feel safe while traveling.

The California Wildfires have claimed over 40 lives and left thousands of people homeless leading up to the holidays.  If you are interested in helping out those communities, here is a great article from the San Diego Times Listing several ways you can help.  https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/opinion/the-conversation/sd-how-to-help-california-wildfire-victims-woolsey-camp-fire-20181112-htmlstory.html

World Central Kitchen:  this is one of my favorite charities.  They provide meals to those in need—and have a stellar record of helping in the aftermath of disasters.  They’ve already served over 50,000 meals to those impacted by the California fires!

American Red Cross:  The Red Cross is known for helping people and responding to disasters.  https://www.redcross.org/donate/hurricane-florence-donations.html/
